We provide a responsible way for customers to dispose of waste tyres which we shred and process into a range of high-quality rubber products (ideal for playgrounds, sports surfaces and landscaping uses).

PPP Group are an accredited company who are committed to creating a positive work environment for our employees. We are currently seeking a General Machine Operative to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:

As a General Machine Operative, the role will involve operating and monitoring various equipment and machinery in our production facility in Portglenone.

Your role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and safe production of our products. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, a team player and comfortable working within a production environment which involves heavy machinery.

There may be opportunities to work flexible hours, including shifts and overtime for the right candidate, if desired.

Previous experience operating machinery is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor machines and equipment according to assist with the production of rubber products.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company standards.
• Report production data, including output, downtime, and any issues encountered.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimise the production processes.
• Assist with loading and unloading of various materials.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a machine operative or in a similar role is preferred.
• Machine licences are an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Must be reliable and able to work well as part of a team.  
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Must be comfortable taking responsibility for the delivery of tasks.
