PPP Group Secures Upgraded Environmental Permit for UK Operations
PPP Group is pleased to announce the successful upgrade of our Environmental Permit for our waste tyre disposal site located in Wem, Shropshire. This achievement underscores our commitment to meeting stringent regulations governing the disposal of end-of-life (ELT) tyres, which are classified as environmentally hazardous in the UK.
The permit upgrade follows a comprehensive application and rigorous auditing process conducted by the Environmental Agency, confirming that PPP Group adheres to the highest standards of compliance and environmental responsibility.
Peter O’Kane, Managing Director of PPP Group, commented on this development, stating, "We are delighted that the license for our Wem site has been upgraded which will support the expansion of our UK tyre recycling operations. Additionally, the site will function as a distribution hub for our range of recycled rubber products, ensuring fast and seamless deliveries to our UK-based customers."
