PPP Group Attends Industrial Decarbonisation Event
PPP Group recently participated in the Industrial Decarbonisation event hosted by the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council at the Ecos Hub, Ballymena. The event, spearheaded by Invest NI, aimed to educate businesses and stakeholders on the ambitious Industrial Decarbonisation project for Northern Ireland (ID-NI).
ID-NI is a collaborative effort involving various stakeholders such as Manufacturing NI, the Mineral Products Association, Ulster University, Queen's University, and all councils throughout Northern Ireland.
The primary goal of this initiative is to develop geographic clusters of companies facing similar energy challenges. By working together, these groups of businesses can effectively reduce energy consumption, thereby driving both environmental sustainability and economic growth.
The event shed light on the strategies and objectives of ID-NI, emphasizing the importance of collective action in tackling industrial decarbonization. PPP Group gained insights into how their participation in this initiative can contribute to a more sustainable future for Northern Ireland.
Moreover, the ID-NI project aligns seamlessly with the ongoing Mid and East Antrim Net Zero (MEANZ) Business project. MEANZ aims to support businesses in their journey towards achieving net-zero carbon emissions targets. By participating in the event, PPP Group reaffirms its commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable business practices.
PPP Group is excited to be part of such impactful initiatives that not only benefit the environment but also foster economic growth and innovation. By collaborating with other businesses and stakeholders, PPP Group looks forward to making meaningful strides towards a greener, more sustainable future for Northern Ireland.
