This Columbus McKinnon (CM) Dual Speed Tire Shredding System is a highly capable and versatile tyre shredding solution, supplied as a complete turnkey unit including include in-feed conveyor, discharge conveyor, sub frame and platforms as well as a control panel with PLC Controls, all mounted on a portable trailer for added user convenience.

The generator is also available for purchase separately.

This shredder has been well looked with new knives, barrels and blades installed to ensure it remains in great condition and ready to go straight to work for the new owner.

CM Dual Speed Shredders are capable of processing steel belted car, SUV and truck tyres up to tyre sizes with an 22.5' (572mm) inch rim. The shredder has two speeds: 22 rpm for passenger and SUV tires and 11 rpm for large semi-tractor trailer tyres.

This CM model features an internal screen and recirculation process that enables acceptable sized shred to exit the system but recirculate oversize pieces for additional processing. As a result, this single step machine requires much less space to operate than alternative shredding systems.

It can shred process whole tires in a single step while producing consistently sized tyre chips ideal for the Tire Derived Aggregates (TDA) or Tire Derived Fuels (TDF) markets.
